Sun
drenched and surrounded by deer, this state of the art studio complex, with its tranquil river boat trips that leave you unruffled
between mixes, more closely resembles a resort. Spectacular
sunsets over Lake Travis, viewed from the nearby Oasis restaurant, are sights no self-respecting recording artist should miss.
Poodie’s Hilltop Bar and Grill, the best Honky Tonk in the Hill Country, is also in close proximity to the studio.
Paleface Sound Studio
is owned by drummer David Womack, a dear friend of many years. David’s enthusiasm for life and music permeates the recording
experience and attracts the finest professional musicians from Austin, the “Live Music Capitol of The World”.
The studio will indulge the most demanding producer or celebrated artist and light the path for those taking their first tentative
steps on a musical journey.
In-house production,
engineering and digital mastering, are masterfully overseen by Austin’s renowned audio guru Bill Johnson. In his capacity
as Associate Producer and Technical Adviser to the annual KGSR live CD, Bill works with many illustrious artists and never
fails to deliver the ultimate listening experience.
When darkness
falls beneath the southern night sky, David Womack will point out the stars for you, let Paleface Sound Studio put your name
on one.

Paula Nelson.
Great Brit Music were recently honoured
by an invitation to Willie Nelson’s 75th birthday celebrations at KGSR Radio in Austin Texas.
Since then, our artists have
been on tour twice with Willie Nelson’s daughter Paula who is currently promoting her fabulous new album "Little
City". Our
music productions have now also featured twice on KGSR Radio.
We regularly receive airplay on the BBC
who have, on several occasions, played tracks from our latest release "Paleface Sessions".
Before one of our live shows in the United States,
the BBC called us and broadcast a live transatlantic telephone interview with Great Britmusic and Paula from the tour bus.
After further shows, a second BBC transatlantic live telephone interview then followed with even greater success and since
then we have done many others.
